October 4 -- Julie and I decided we'd take baby John out for a nice stroll. We participated in the Denver "Race for the Cure" to support breast cancer research. The event was held in downtown Denver. About 60k people participated! If you've never done this sort of thing, we highly recommend it. I think this was the first morning we got up and realized that it takes far longer to go ANYWHERE with a baby. I normal 20 minute up-and-going took about an hour and a half. Well, we missed the 5k walk, but we did make it to the family walk and had fun!
